A group of preschoolers is attacked, and a 5-year-old boy dies after a knife attack – this is not a reality we can accept. This unimaginable tragedy shows us that the level of threats is constantly increasing. Although we should not allow such situations to occur, they do happen. And more and more frequently.
Let’s make our children safer! Set up a donation box for the institution of your choice and jointly fund situational awareness training for the staff. We want to provide tools to increase the chances of avoiding danger, prevention, and demonstrate threat detection techniques. Take the initiative – resorting to self-defense is the last resort. As part of the Bezpieczne KobieTY campaign, Mateusz Orczykowski has already trained 700 women, including 280 child caregivers in nurseries. Today, he wants to share his knowledge and experience with caregivers and parents who no longer want to pretend that the threats don’t concern us and our children.
How can you help?
- Set up a donation box for the institution of your choice. The one your child or grandchild attends. Maybe the one next to where you live? Send the link to friends, engage the community, and collectively raise 2,500 zł to organize training there, with the institution’s consent.
- Every three such training sessions mean that Mateusz organizes a fourth for the most needy institutions.
- Spread the word about our campaign! In preschools, schools, at work, on your social media. Suggest it to your favorite internet creator. Together we can do more! Together, We Will Make It Happen.
- Donate any amount to the fundraiser. Every zloty brings us closer to the goal, and when we reach 100,000 zł, we will create an online training course “Observation and Photographic Memory.” We will make it available to all who have been trained! A high level of observation allows for noticing details that indicate an impending attack.
Any reaction is better than no reaction at all.
All we can do is better prepare ourselves, have better situational awareness, and ensure that those who care for our children can also detect, identify, and control risk and make decisions appropriate to the threat.
There is no systematic education on threat prevention in educational institutions. How many more tragedies must occur before we pull our heads out of the sand and admit: the threat is real and increasingly common.

Set up a donation box for a specific educational institution and let’s collectively raise funds for this purpose! The cost of training is 2,500 zł. This price includes training for educators and parents in safety (group limit: 25 people). For every three training sessions for which we raise funds on this fundraiser, Mateusz Orczykowski will conduct one additional training for a chosen preschool or school.
